Give an overview of the duties, functions and responsibilities of your job.

My time and role are split between Compliance and Administration, so some days I will have calls or emails with clients and other days I can be assisting with Anti-Money Laundering training or performing risk assessments or reviews. No day is ever the same in my role, but everyday almost always starts with a coffee!

What particular challenges do you regularly encounter?

Keeping up with legislation around Anti-Money Laundering and making sure we are following guidelines. There’s a lot to read!

What is your favourite part of the job?

I love the variety and challenges, no two days are ever the same.

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

The team here at TAP are so friendly and I love that we are a dog-friendly office.

What skills do you find most useful to do your job?

Being organised, thinking outside the box, and good time management skills.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

I love hiking in Wales or going to the beach with my dog.

Tell us about your proudest achievement.

I have a fear of heights so going in a cable car over the rainforest in Australia is definitely up there.

How would your colleagues describe you?

I asked my colleagues this question at lunch, and they said: Creative, Chatty and Wise (not sure about the last one!)

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

I am currently reading To Kill a Mockingbird.

Who do you admire, and why?

I admire my grandmother, she’s selfless, so kind and absolutely unstoppable when she puts her mind to something and she has some great stories.
