This month we spoke to Alina Ciorobitca, Payroll Clerk at The Accountancy Partnership!

Give an overview of the duties, functions and responsibilities of your job.

Providing payroll to multiple clients including set ups, starters, leavers, SMP and pension.

What is a typical working day like for you?

Coffee first 😊, then emails, payroll, clients and HMRC calls.

What particular challenges do you regularly encounter?

The majority of our clients are new to payroll, and it is a challenge for me to explain how the payroll works in so many different ways so that each individual business will understand at the beginning.

What are some of the biggest challenges faced by your clients?

Understanding the employment laws and HMRC guidelines.

How are you able to use your skills to solve problems for them?

Being able to explain the process of Payroll to clients, in a specific way that they can understand 😊

What is your favourite part of the job?

Giving my payroll knowledge to the clients and their appreciation.

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

The whole Team… and pet friendly environment, of course!

What skills do you find most useful to do your job?

My attention to detail.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

Being new on the Wirral, all the surroundings are new too and every visit becomes one of my favourites, until the next adventure.

First of all, my kids and second finishing my BSc in Business Management having the kids around me 😊

Very positive, happy and funny – Maybe 😊

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

I have no time for this at the moment!

Who do you admire, and why?

My mum, beside the fact that we look so alike she is the one that made me the person I am today.

What question would you really like to answer, and what’s the answer?!

Where would you want to live right now? Anywhere on the Mediterranean coast!
