A partnership is a formal structure for a business owned and run by two or more people (or entities). The responsibility and profits are shared according to the percentage of the business they own.
You might decide to operate either as a general partnership, or by registering a Limited Liability Partnership with Companies House. Like any business structure, operating as a partnership has its own rules and regulations for those involved.
