Hi Craig! Tell us about your business.

Marshalls Fire Protection Ltd is a small family-run business looking to achieve big things in the future. We are looking for new customers to start building our customers’ profile. The aim is to choose the right clients at the right time.

Our main game is to provide excellent service across the board in fire alarm maintenance, servicing installation, and small works. To aim big but grow at a rate that keeps the company healthy and not take too much on too quickly, and to keep excellent communication.

What drove you to start the business?

I have worked in the industry for over 10 years, and I wanted to take the next step and test myself and achieve success as a small business.

What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?

I started my business in November 2019 and just as I was getting started, Covid 19 happened and the world was fragile. It took me till October 2021 to really get going but I did not want to give up my dream. Since then I have maintained a steady workload and am now ready for client building. It may not have been as quick as I would have liked. But that has not stopped me from achieving my goals.

What do you have planned for your business in the future?

My goals are well under way, achieving the right accreditation for SafeContractor and CHAS, with the next push to achieve BAFE.
